Safe operation of the log grabber
Regardless of the machinery being operated, safety operation is the first and foremost thing to understand. Only by understanding it can we avoid all operational misunderstandings, and thus work more safely and efficiently!
After inquiring the staff in the factory for their personal opinions, I have summarized some safety precautions regarding the log grabber for your reference:
The danger zone of the log grabber is 20 meters. Unauthorized personnel are not allowed to enter the danger zone: if the log grabber is not in a controlled state, it must not be left in a raised position; it must not be used for lifting; when there is a risk of rollover, immediately use the boom to lower the grab to a lower position.
The normal operating temperature range for the wood grabber is -30°C to +40°C. In low or high temperature environments, wear on seals and hoses increases, affecting the durability of steel and potentially causing cracks. In low temperature environments, the wood grabber needs to perform various movements (warm-up) under no-load conditions to soften and heat the seals and hoses. In high temperature conditions, attention must be paid to oil and water temperatures. When the oil temperature reaches 80°C, it can damage the performance of the hydraulic oil and harm the seals and hoses.
1. Check whether the oil and return oil pipes are connected correctly. If the inlet and return oil pipes are connected reversely, it may damage the distribution valve.
2. Push the control valve rod smoothly, avoiding large opening and closing movements.
3. Use the outer arm to pull the material as close as possible until the grab can lift the material stably.
4. After loading is completed, the log grabber must be retracted and parked.
5. It is not necessary to fully extend all the legs to support the vehicle body; just extend them to the ground to maintain balance.
6. When loading, the vehicle must be in a braking state, and if necessary, a blocker can be placed in front of the tires.
7. When driving, try to lower the grab crane's boom and grab as much as possible to avoid swaying back and forth at high speeds.
All the precautions summarized above need to be understood by users and operators. Only by knowing both oneself and the other side can one flexibly operate the intelligent wood grabber.
